Achtvazen emerged from my passion for unique vases and the art of creating flower arrangements. What began as a personal collection of vases has blossomed into this portfolio I build up in the last three years.
My journey started at the flea markets of the Netherlands and France, where I delved deeper into the diversity of vase shapes, their rich histories, and their ability to perfectly complement a bouquet. Inspired by these discoveries, I decided to share my collection on Instagram and soon my passion evolved into a career as a florist.
The work extends beyond an online presence. I’ve hosted a pop-up shop full of vases in the city of Rotterdam, collaborated with local stores/businesses, made flower arrangements for private dinners and worked closely with talented florists to elevate spaces with unique vases and arrangements. At the moment I’m working for Midi Flowers Amsterdam, Kore Rotterdam and Martin Fleurs Nicé.
